I'm so torn about this last installment because I absolutely LOVE the Salty Series, but I must give honesty for this review. The typos are heartbreaking throughout this entire series and I'm not sure if authors really get how important it is with editing and how typos and grammar can take so much away from the story when you have to try and figure it out for yourself. For instance, while Paris is in jail, she calls out to the officer asking to use the phone, but instead the officer told her she would be back from lunch in 30 minutes. It clearly said "Dimples" called out but the CO wrote down "Paris'" name in the log so she wouldn't forget. There was way too much going on and way too many characters that somehow all linked together. Some stuff is just over the chart and doing the most. There really wasn't closure in my opinion concerning Jazz, Ken, and Sean's situation and if the author chooses not to do another installment, it will be for other reasons and not because she felt this installment was the closure. Am I still a fan? ALWAYS
I am so glad that Salty came to an end, that I started to lose interest. Nevertheless, Aleta did an excellent job of bringing the characters together and connecting the dots. I was greatly disappointed that she left hanging Shawn not knowing he has a son, Hood and Paris relationship, and Shawn sister's resentment for Jazmine wasn't put to rest unless Ms. Williams plans to rehash in another sequel which I can not imagine. The story had some many characters to close out that she rushed the ending. Don's death and seeing him get his just deserve would have been enjoyable to read as well as Yay Yay's death.
Although there was some mistakes and mix up with some of the characters name the book was still a page turner. Im happy at the ending and glad that love won over all.
This "last" book was definitely worth the wait. I had to stop reading it for a couple days because I wasn't ready for it to end! LolYou did it again girl, keep em coming. I love it
This series was long and entertaining. It kept me hooked. Addictive is the word. At first I was mad at certain events which included Jazz and Ken but you have redeemed yourself. Lol Thank you so much. I don't want to spoil anything so I'll leave this only.
I think Mrs.Williams was mad at someone when writing this book!!!..lol she killing off people left and right!!! I'm sad to see Jazz and the rest of the crew go!!! But it was one hell of a ride!!! Great job!!!
It's about time that Yay-Yay got what she deserved. Pastor G and Pam finally get their relationship together. This entire series will have you reading into the wee hours of the morning knowing you have to go to work.
I enjoyed the series but glad it's over. By the end of it I was so turned off by the behavior of all the characters, I disliked every one of them!
