I am a firefighter, and I ordered this book on a recommendation from a great firefighter I look up to. My wife and I kept it on the coffee table, and both of us were constantly picking it up and reading it in detail when the other was not around. A few months later we both read the whole thing in various sessions, and would find ourselves talking about various sections to each other. This book is outstanding, and it really is a great tool for spouses to connect on. I feel like it made my wife feel like "she is not alone" in the way she feels about many issues that arise from our marriage related to my job. I also feel like the book allowed me to relate to situations, emotions, and issues that I didn't even know where present. I highly recommend this book to anybody in the fire service. I appreciate Mr. and Mrs. Gagliano and the effort they put into this project, it is very helpful and insightful.
